RE: [dsdp-pmc] DSDP Incubator Project

Hi Martin,

The reason I ask is because if the contribution will be cleared within a few weeks, then it probably is not worth the effort to create an incubation project first and figure out my other concern.
I'm a bit leery of using an incubation project to explicitly bypass the Eclipse IP process. I'm not sure what the reasons are why every new contribution is not eligible for the Parallel IP process. But apparantly there are some, so I don't think we should be putting code in an incubator first, unless it has some other characteristics of an incubation project, or Eclipse legal signs off on using the Parallel IP process.

RE: [dsdp-pmc] DSDP Incubator Project

Hi Mark,

What's the estimated time to complete IP clearance on the contribution?

I don't know. It's a plain EPL-only contribution from only 2 main authors,
so I don't expect any major roadblocks, but only the EMO IP team can
answer the timing question.

Feel free to CC on the CQ and ask the question there:

Cheers,
