RE: [dsdp-mtj-dev] DSDP MTJ 0.9.1 Plan: first draft

I have taken a quick look at the plan, and it looks reasonable to me.
One question regarding the Apple support - the windowing system
supported is Carbon in the table; however, Apple is not extending Carbon
to 64 bit systems (all desktop Macs) and has already announce that it
will be deprecated in the future. Shouldn't this be Cocoa instead?

Subject: [dsdp-mtj-dev] DSDP MTJ 0.9.1 Plan: first draft

Hi mtj,

I just finished the first draft of MTJ 0.9.1 plan based on the decisions
of our previous meeting. The plan is on the standard eclipse format on
the url:
http://www.eclipse.org/projects/project-plan.php?projectid=dsdp.mtj

Just to remember, during last meeting we committed to:
- motorola: library support and midlet localization
- sybase: multiple device support

For each area there are already several bugs opened, based on the
initial discussions that we had. If you think it is necessary feel free
to open and/or close those bugs to better reflect the way that the
features will be developed. Just please make sure to tag the bugs
according to the themes.

All bugs are still as proposed since it is still necessary to estimated
if the effort of each task to see what we can accomplish until december.

The next steps are:
- review the bugs
- if you think it is feasible to do it on 0.9.1 timeframe, then change
"target milestone" to "0.9.1"
- if you think it is not possible to do it, then change "target
milestone" to "Future"
- start to work on requirements (there is one requirements bug per
theme). The list of the requirements bugs is below
	[library]: define library support requirements:
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=249821
	[localization]: define localization support requirements:
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=249815
[multdevice]: define multiple device support requirements:
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=249830
- there is also a fix & improve theme. Major bugs on this theme has a
higher priority them any new feature. We should analyze those bugs when
they are opened and take decisions based on that.

If anyone as question / comments and can do the discussion directly on
each bug.

Regards,
Gustavo
