FYI... I figured out and fixed the concurrency issue that was showing up on device import in Ubuntu. Given the nature of the problem (asyncExec rather than syncExec call), it could have happened for any device emulator on any platform. I'm not entirely sure why it only seems to happen in the particular case. Either way, I'm convinced that I found and fixed the root problem.
