Yes, You can say that.
Also, I have another feature request to expose an extension point to define a breakpoint type.
I can see a requirement on the Wiki page "Breakpoint extension mechanism to allow custom breakpoint types."
Does it mean the same ?
Since I am now directed to the right person I would like to ask for your opinion on few more things related to breakpoints.
-> Today we cannot apply filters in the breakpoints view.
One can check or Uncheck or a view can be modified to show breakpoints on resource type basis but the whole breakpoint list is shown.
I feel there should be a provision to hide breakpoints in the view on the basis of some criterias like resource type.
One can have many projects in the workspace but not all the breakpoints are relevant all the time.
-> Shouldn't breakpoints icon be explicit to show the type too ? Looking at the BP in the editor, one should be able to know the type.
Today one has to group by the type in the breakpoints view. And once you do that you lose the grouping done on resource basis.
And the same icon can be used in front of the breakpoints in the breakpoints view. It's an instant way to see the type.x
-> Since DSDP is also going to be about debugging multiple processors, I am interested to know how the breakpoints view will look like in that case.
I have seen somwhere that the coloring strategy will be used to differentiate. Is it so ?
