[Dltk-dev] generateFeatureVersionSuffix help

hello all -

  i've been trying to get my feature to include a version suffix, but for the life of me, i can't figure out why it's not working.

  i added this property to the feature's build.properties

    generateFeatureVersionSuffix=true

  but no matter how i build the plugins (either via export or an update site), i can't get the version qualifier. 

  can anyone shed some light on this? i've tried searching but have been unsuccessful at finding an answer.
