Re: [Dltk-dev] Status of DLTK Python for Galileo

Hi Lothar,

Code completion in EclipseCon tutorial was way too simple - it just offered all types/methods available in that source module.

Nothing prevents to commit tutorial code to DLTK-Python, but there was a hope that somebody (interested in Python support) will contribute more advanced implementation.

What do you think?

Regards,
Alex

Subject: [Dltk-dev] Status of DLTK Python for Galileo

Hi,

I checked the cvs at
http://dev.eclipse.org/viewcvs/index.cgi/org.eclipse.dltk/python/plugins/org.eclipse.dltk.python.core/src/org/eclipse/dltk/python/internal/core/?root=Technology_Project

and I could not find the code from the EclipseCon 2008 tutorial

http://wiki.eclipse.org/DLTK_IDE_Guide:Step_3._Towards_an_IDE

integrated. Actually Most changes are more than a year old.

Won't the enhancements from the tutorial to DLTK Python be part of the Galileo
Release? If not, why? Code completion for Python would be certainly
desirable.

Lothar
