[dali-dev] JPA Diagram Editor component weekly status - week 6, 2011

A summarized status of the JPA Diagram Editor component for week 6,  2011:

  1. The code is ported to its new place in CVS:

Repository: /cvsroot/webtools/
HEAD:/org.eclipse.jpa/components/jpa_diagram_editor

  1. The Hudson build job is renamed and redirected to build the project against Indigo and Graphiti 0.7.1:
https://hudson.eclipse.org/hudson/view/WTP/job/cbi-wtp.jpaeditor/
The Hudson build passed successfully (including successful execution of JUnit tests) and I've performed a sanity check: updated Indigo with the editor and played a bit with it - everything seems fine.
(Note: There are some unsuccessful builds from the last two days but since there are no changes in the code of the component I guess it’s due to the build problems in WTP)
The project is still not integrated with WTP build. We plan to do it the next week.

  1. We are now in a sprint planning phase and we've planned in details:
  1. Support for Embeddable classes
  2. One-to-Many unidirectional relationship
  3. @ElementCollection support
The above are planned to be implemented during the next four weeks (before the middle of March 2011).
The 'derived id' feature will be planned for the second half of March 2011 or the first half of April.

  1. The next four weeks we'll provide the user documentation and update the project wiki page. We also continue to work on bug fixings.

Best wishes!
Stefan
