[cross-project-issues-dev] A word about Download Stats

Greetings,

You may be aware that we gather anonymized download requests in a database, and provide an interface to query it.

If you're using the Find A Mirror mechanism[1] or the p2 statsURI[2], then you're all set.  The interface to issue queries is available through your Eclipse Foundation account [3] or using this direct URL:

https://dev.eclipse.org/committers/committertools/stats.php

We've recently resolved an issue with the p2 download stats -- prior to Jan 8, 2020 the numbers provided in the results represent about 1/10th their actual values. Entries from the Find a Mirror are accurate.

If you have any questions about download stats, please don't hesitate to ask us at webmaster@xxxxxxxxxxx.
