I observed the cookies issue as well and therefore recently filed
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=552928.
This was resolved quite fast (thanks to the web masters) and now I don't see this problem anymore (with a current Firefox).

In addition I often have to confirm/accept cookies and I have no cleaner or so. That's quite annoying, too. Is that a related issue?
