Re: [cross-project-issues-dev] Simultaneous Release Participation

Hi Wayne,

I have a clarification question here. The wiki page states that the corresponding release record must exist before the M1 date. What happens if a project would like to update the contributed release number after M1 with a different bugfix release?

As a more concrete example, VIATRA plans to provide a bugfix release 2.1.x for SimRel 2019-03; but at this point, we don’t know what the final release number will be (most likely 1 or 2, depending on the number and severity of issues we find and fix until March). In other words, if we select now either version, there is a reasonable chance we need to update this before the final release.

Thanks for your help,
Zoltán
