Re: [cross-project-issues-dev] Status and outlook for RC3

Yes, you can run the tests locally (against
a local repository). I've made some improvements over the past months to
make the tests a little more flexible and bullet proof, though since not
many people have ran them locally or in their own builds, the chances are
good you can get in on the ground floor and help improve them or the instructions.
Instructions? Yes, I just wrote some! See
http://wiki.eclipse.org/SimRel/Simultaneous_Release_Reports_Running_Locally
Let us know how it goes.

Is there a way to run the reports locally?
I am pretty much sure I fixed all the problems for the upcoming RC3 contribution
of Koneki, but I'd be interested in testing that locally before actually
releasing an contributing.
Thanks!
Benjamin.

Objet : [cross-project-issues-dev] Status and outlook for RC3
As we begin RC3, week, I wanted to report
the good news that Virgo got their problem figured out so everyone is currently
in, and I've updated "staging" (which would be sort of an RC2
Plus).
And the reports at
http://build.eclipse.org/juno/simrel/reporeports/
are looking much better than the last time I sent a nag note ... but, still
a lot of work to do for 5 or so projects to "hit the minimum".
I know everyone is busy fixing their own bugs, but things like "missing
about.html" are "blocking" bugs, and some of the other reports
can indicate serious problems, so I hope you find them useful.
I will be updating the Eclipse Project's contribution to RC3 level soon,
which will require RAP Runtime (and by ripple effect, Scout) to be disabled,
but I hope projects are winding down, making fewer changes, and perhaps
we will have an easy week for RC3? ... well ... most of us?
Good luck, and thanks to all!
