Re: [cross-project-issues-dev] Indigo SR2 RC1 staging repo is done.

Hi all,

after some iterations I managed to consume the maintenance repository and created the 'RC1' EPP packages which are available for download here:

  http://build.eclipse.org/technology/epp/epp_build/indigo/download/20120119-1117/

David wrote it in another mail, but I'd like to mention it here again: This RC1 is a warm-up build for EPP. I won't upload these packages to the download servers and to the mirrors, and (even more important) I haven't asked any of the package maintainers to test this build. But if you have some spare time it is always appreciated if you could test them (and report back to epp-dev if you find any errors).

The next 'real' package build will be Indigo SR2 RC2.

Thanks,
Markus

Looks like no other changes since 3:00 PM, so we'll consider this our RC1
repo. Suitable for early sanity checking and EPP Package build testing.

Don't forget to check "repo reports" ...

http://build.eclipse.org/indigo/simrel/

It looks like a few errors have slipped in concerning missing about.html or
license files. Not sure how that'd happen ... seems like builds should be
pretty automated and repeatable by SR2 ... but ... I know nothing of the
details so maybe a perfect rational explanation (which I do not need to
know :).

I have disabled the Indigo Aggregation build for now, to avoid confusion,
and will re-enable it Friday or so (after EPP done) so projects can make
"early" contributions for RC2, if they'd like, next week.  I won't actively
update the /releases/maintenance repo next week, unless someone requests
it.

Thanks everyone!
