sounds like wishful thinking :)
At least I know (and use) a number of xsl transformations that were
handcrafted by individual projects to massage metadata in required ways.

The "for composite repositories" section suggests exactly that.
The hackish part is when you published the URL of a leaf repo
and need that to be handled transparently without a composite
doing the redirection.

Indeed it says "This page is moderated by the EMO" (whatever that means :) )
I moved that section to another page and just left a introductory
sentences and a link.
