Re: [cross-project-issues-dev] Indigo checklist "jarred bundles" vs. org.eclipse.pde.ui.samples

We left that ambiguous because we couldn't think of what to say ... at least that wouldn't sound bossy or overly oppressive to someone, and thought "we'll leave it up to the project for now". In a perfect world, you could click on 'exception' and provide short description, or link to bug 332748 ... somewhere in the docuware is fine ... but, I would not expect everyone to be uniform in this respect. Probably best, when in doubt, to think of it similar to "if asked, could we point someone to the documentation" ... kind of like a tax-audit ... you are not expected to send in each and every bit of documentation supporting your tax form, but you need to be prepared to produce it if audited, I've heard. (And, no, we don't have any audit's planned ... just an example).

Nice analogy! :)

Thanks John and David for both your answers.

I have now ticked "Jarred Bundles used" and the three of us
agree that this means, "... where technically possible".

Where will this documentation be searched for?
In the review docuware?

BTW, here again it's called "Exceptions" which sounds awfully similar
to "Exceptions" in the Planning Exception Process. Maybe we should
distinguish checked and unchecked exceptions? :)

thanks,
Stephan
