Re: [cross-project-issues-dev] Build is dead. Long live Build!

hudson.eclipse.org works for me, but https://build.eclipse.org/hudson/ is still not accessible. I get an Error 102 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED): Unknown error.

Hi,
same problem with Xtext. Several new Buckminster jobs Xpand-nightly-HEAD, MWE-Language-nightly-HEAD, Xtext-nightly-HEAD and MWE-nightly-HEAD are gone.

Hi all,

I think we have the same problem,

While it seems that the new https://hudson.eclipse.org/hudson jobs are online those which were accessed via https://build.eclipse.org/hudson are not avaiable.

Could I have any guidance about what to do ?

Thanks in advance,
Adolfo.

Hi,

thanks for bringing up the build servers this quickly! I took a look at the directory at build.eclipse.org but I'm not able to find our two previous jobs cbi-soa-jwt-integration and cbi-soa-jwt-stable. Does this mean we have to request and configure them from scratch?

Regards,
Chris

The Hudson servers are back online, and the new Build server is now
(somewhat) online. Feel free to log in and start recovering your build
processes.

As I mentioned last week, we have lost the *build account home
directories and the local MySQL data, but /shared is intact.

Here are some notes:

- there may be some software or OS components missing. Please file a bug
if you need OS components.

- the new machine is an x86_64 box, so the PPC64 Java files in
/shared/common won't work. Feel free to install new JDKs there

- PPC executables in /shared will no longer work.

- the local *Build accounts (wtpBuild, phpBuild, etc) have mostly been
recreated with new passwords. Releng leads who used those accounts
should email webmaster@xxxxxxxxxxx to get the new Build account
password. Please change it to something new at your earliest convenience.

- signing hasn't been enabled yet.

If you see anything else that is missing, please let us know.
