confirming: svn works for me, too.

However, I also need access to a CVS repository and then 

  cvs [checkout aborted]: cannot stat /var/lock/cvs: No such file or directory

Given that  /cvsroot/eclipse/CVSROOT/config explicitly states:

  LockDir=/var/lock/cvs

I feel a simple mkdir (with sufficiently wide permissions) should make me 
happy, no?
