Re: [cross-project-issues-dev] Status and outlook for "Final +3 exception builds"

It's a matter of conformance with the Eclipse IP Policy. It's a show-stopper. You have to rebuild.

Thanks,

Wayne

Hi Wayne,

is it really a legal issue not having the license information included in the features? The real content (i.e. code) of course contains the licensing information and the bundles do so as well.

If it is really a show stopping issue and we do have to rebuild, please let me know ASAP.

Thanks,
Sven

Today should be the last day for re-builds, by anyone's schedule.

There has been huge progress on fixing bundles and features without the proper IP related files,
but there are a few remaining to fix:

Check files and layout in bundles and features.

Checking: /home/data/httpd/download.eclipse.org/releases/staging/aggregate/features
   Checked 642 of 642.
Errors found: 5 *(down from about 60)*

Too bad. What can we do about it? Given that yesterday was our last build and given that we have checksums as well signed the jars I don't think
we can or should manually modify the jars.
Rebuilding could work, but our release engineer (Dennis) is not available today... So we might not be able doing the final build, since a lot of manual tasks are involved.

Any ideas?
