Re: [cross-project-issues-dev] PTP was not included in the Helios update site

Open a bug in cross-project-dev component.  I'll take a look.
Be sure to give detail. Such as, was it in /releases/staging, but not /releases/helios
Is it simply not in "categories" or not there even if you search with no categories via text field filter?

Thanks,

David,
we did what we thought was necessary to get PTP in the Helios update site but it's not there.
What else do we need to do?
Thanks.

Ok, thanks. I'll take a look at the local build.

The categories are not a very good match for PTP, so I've been debating what to do. PTP adds Fortran support, so that can logically come under "Programming Languages", however for the other parts of PTP it's less obvious. PTP provides static analysis, launching, monitoring, and debugging tools for parallel programs. I've put this under "General Purpose Tools", but it's not a very good fit. Another component of PTP is the Remote Development Tools (not mobile/device, but rather for developing programs that reside on a remote machine), which I've also put under "General Purpose Tools". I would prefer to see a new top level category for something like "Parallel and Remote Development", but I presume there's hoops to go through for that.
