We really must get a better process in place for the major releases. 
Perhaps allow a week to do Freeze -> Mirror -> Verify Mirrors before the 
Release is announced or something similar. I've been more or less 
blocked since Friday by this problem and I know I'm in a big crowd 
having the same issue.

When can we expect things being back to normal?
