For what it's worth, I did some tests
on the site this afternoon and it looked good. I did upgrade 3.5.0->3.5.1
and rollback 3.5.1->3.5.0, along with installing a random selection
of components from the release train site. No problems encountered.

[cross-project-issues-dev] RC3 done,
RC4 to go
We are almost done with Galileo SR1
A. Please test the service update site
http://download.eclipse.org/releases/maintenance/
And, remember, since this /releases/maintenance site will literally
replace the /releases/galileo/ site,
be sure to disable the current /releases/galileo site, to make sure you
are pulling everything from that one
maintenance site.
B. Also please test the "all in one" packages:
http://www.eclipse.org/epp/download.php
The RC3 version is 20090910-1754
C. For remaining schedule, see
http://wiki.eclipse.org/Galileo_Simultaneous_Release#SR1
