[cross-project-issues-dev] Repacked and reinstated stp.build

I broke the build earlier by hitting an MD5 hash issue - now I've updated
the contribution to work around that issue and reinstated it.

Unfortunately, I couldn't do a test run locally - see [0] - but I'm sure I
will find out soon enough if there are any remaining issues.
