- Thread-topic: About File Extractor
Hi
all,
since most of the
Ganymede Projects have a member on the Orbit Project,
you might know this
already, but I thought I'd still make sure you get the
message in any
case:
In order to easily
compile an archive of the about.html files in a project
(which is due to
send in to EMO Legal by Thursday May 15 COB),
Jeff McAffer wrote a
little tool that is checked in to the Orbit Repository.
Get it
from
Root =
:pserver:dev.eclipse.org:/cvsroot/tools
Module =
org.eclipse.orbit/org.eclipse.orbit.releng.aboutextractor
It's a simple
Main.java program that you can Right-click > Run As
> Java
Application. Feed it a commandline that has a source
directory
first, in which all
your downloadable stuff is extracted; and a destination
directory second,
where all the extracted about files will be placed.
For
example:
java
Main.class D:\tmp\rse_m7_complete\eclipse\plugins
D:\tmp\rse_m7_abouts
Then, just zip up
the abouts directory. For more details, see
Kudos to Jeff for
writing the tool!
Cheers,
