The latest CMDBf spec I found on DMTF is dated 6/25/9 and situated at http://www.dmtf.org/standards/cmdbf/. Is this the one you are referring to?

The latest version is 1.0 on DMTF, published in July (?) 2009. Since we've
already had a 1.0 of CMDBf in our codebase, we will have to come up with some
way around that when we implement this.
