RE: [cosmos-dev] i10 QA Execution (COSMOS-1.0.0-200804270312)- Status#1

Sheldon

I do not think that 229105 is a stop ship because there’s a workaround. Also the problem only happens on Linux.

Regards

Bill

I pushed bugs 229102 and 229109 to i11 since there are workarounds for these bugs.

Bill can you comment on bug 229105. Whether this is a stop ship problem?

Tania or Ruth,
Do we need a readme for these known problems and workarounds?

Thanks,

Sheldon

Hi,

QA has finished following activities on latest i10 candidate driver #2
(COSMOS-1.0.0-200804270312) without any blocking issues.
- End2End testing on Windows XP,Windows 2003 and Red Hat Enterprise
Linux Server 5.0 is complete, based on test instructions provided at
"http://wiki.eclipse.org/COSMOS_DEMO_i10"
Detailed Status of End2End testing:
Pl. find individual test status of End2End testing at:
http://wiki.eclipse.org/COSMOS_i10_QA_Phase_Execution#E2E_testing_status
_.28WinXP_SP2.2FWin2K3_SP1.2FRHES_5.0.29
Issues/Observations:
1) Under IE, GraphResponseViewer is not showing any data under "Records:
templateID,MDRId,localId"
2) Under IE, After "Sample Repository with Registration -> Register
Configuration Items.." is done, it won't allow to do any other
operations on it and throws error as "'this.domNode.style' is null or
not an object"
Also there is some problem with "Sample Repository with Registration -
Register/Deregister Configuration items.." results window, closing this
windows using 'X' mark doesn't work properly. To close it properly, it
has to be closed by clicking on OK only
3) On Linux, having problem with schema reference -
'cmdbfDatamodel.xsd', tomcat is unable to find this file due to case
mismatch with orignal file name 'cmdbfDataModel.xsd'
"An error occurred trying to resolve schema referenced at
'cmdbfDatamodel.xsd', relative to
'file:/home/domsr01/cosmosi10/apache-tomcat-5.5.25/webapps/axis2/WEB-INF
/services/AperiMdr/META-INF/'.: java.io.FileNotFoundException: This file
was not found:
file:/home/domsr01/cosmosi10/apache-tomcat-5.5.25/webapps/axis2/WEB-INF/
services/AperiMdr/META-INF/cmdbfDatamodel.xsd"
For QA testing, above issues has been resolved locally and continued
testing on it.
Note: Currently there is some problem with bugzilla, hence unable to
file bugs for above issues now, will file them tonight.

Thanks,
Srinivas
