I understand the size of the i8 iteration is linked with the holiday season
and the expectation that people will go on vacation during that time. I
don't usually take vacation during this time, except statutory holidays
but I am quite happy to observe this as a vacation time for the vast majority
:)

COSMOS Committers, 

I have updated the proposal for schedule revisions, per our discussion
during today's Community Call: http://wiki.eclipse.org/Cosmos_Release_Plan#Proposed_Revisions_i7-i12_.2810.2F04.2F2007.29_-_Release_Milestones.

Summary of changes:

• Moved Milestone 2 to the end of i9, which is March 7.  This milestone will be used for EclipseCon 2008.
• Removed Milestone 3, which was originally scheduled for the end of i10.

Please review the latest proposal and post your vote by end of day tomorrow,
October 5.
