Attendees

  • Dennis O'Flynn
  • Jim Wright
  • Glenn Everitt
  • Pawel Kaczmarek
  • Edyta Kalka
  • Marcin Okraszewski
  • Piotr Jaworowski
  • Brian Roberts

Minutes

News and Noteworthy

Dennis

  • EclipseWorld topic proposals were due last Friday, April 20.  Glenn did submit a topic for presentation.

Community Building

Dennis

  • Eclipse Spaces project has scheduled weekly conference calls.  I will begin attending them this week.

Release Engineering

Dennis:

  • Next milestone build, M10, is scheduled for May 4.
  • Gdansk committers will be off that entire week.  I will do a build and release the bits.

Glenn

  • Jackrabbit should be included in M10

Marcin

  • We only have 2 more days to finish migrating Jackrabbit to Corona’s CVS

Dennis

  • What is the probability of getting Jackrabbit for M10.

Edyta

  • We are still working on refactoring the bundles / packages to follow the Orbit model of contributions.

Corona Frameworks

Server-Side Framework

Dennis

  • Joel has been working manageability va WSDM. He had planned to commit code that enabled Corona logging for WSDM.
  • He still needs to finish wiki documentation for WSDM.
  • WSDM does support complex types, however they are not supported by Max (TPTP).
  • We need to either enhance Max or introduce our own admin tool

Brian

  • We need to take the path that is shorter in time frame.

Dennis

  • I’ll have Joel look into if we can add some Corona admin extensions to Max.

Collaboration Framework

Glenn

  • Found what is wrong w/ new ContextContainer model.  EMF/SDO is not serializing to XML document w/ root SDO element.  Consequently, it could not be read by SDO.
  • Posted comments to EMF newsgroup.  Already had some initial replies.

Marcin

  • Will we be able to begin integrating w/ new model soon?  It will a couple weeks to finish the refactoring of the exemplary implementation.

Glenn

  • Could start the refactoring work now, as long as all ContextContainer XML is updated manually to include the root SDO element.

Exemplary Implementation (ProjectContainer)

Marcin

* Not much has changed over the past week.

Test Framework

Dennis

  • Last week, we assigned Gdansk the task to write test case for limiting the number of guest account access.  How has this task progressing?

Marcin

  • Haven’t started it yet.  Our focus has been to get the current suite of tests running first.

Open Issues

Marcin

  • We have created some internal Flash demos for use by UI review.  Should we do something similar and post to Corona’s website?

Glenn

  • Paul is not here today.  This task was assigned to him for M7.  Let’s get his feedback before we proceed.
