Eclipse provides now ability to switch to SVN. The SVN has a great 
advantage in refactoring - you can rename and remove directories, which 
is impossible in CVS.

But:
- our build process probably wouldn't work, or at least some effort 
would be required
- the release notes won't work too; I have just asked Nick Boldt if EMF 
release notes are going to support SVN.
