Re: [cobol-dev] A Termination Review has been scheduled for the COBOLproject

Tools PMC,

As you pointed out, COBOL project have been dead because of lack of
developers. Also we may have been about ready to give up to carry on
this project.
But now we got new developers from this September and start trying to
update COBOL IDE Plug-in, from Eclipse 3.0 to 3.4.
* Release schedule is updated. COBOL Plugin 3.4 Alfa is the nearest
  planned release(2008-10-31).
* With the coorperation from UNISYS member, updating is going well.
* Project web page is updated although the left pane is not completed.
We think at least wiki page will be needed.
* As an interim measure, we committed COBOL Plugin 3.1 for Eclipse 3.1.
* There is no activity or active discussion in the newsgroup and the
mailing list, though, these should be active after release 3.4.
Of course we must activate them.
