Re : [cobol-dev] Time is Tight

it could fill the gap for cobol developers looking for their way in Eclipse environment. i don't understand "object oriented mainframe COBOL". Isn't it the same as standard COBOL 2002 which includes objet-oriented extensions ?

We could have a working COBOL IDE soon. There is a JNI version of the
Columbo analyzer. It delivers a) navigator b) error list c) syntax
highlight and d) copy member list. It is a freeware module and could be
uploaded to this project. The accepted language is object oriented
mainframe COBOL. In order to make the IDE work, it will have to be
integrated into Eclipse and the error messages will have to be translated.
What do you think about this idea?

Jens
