Re: [cdt-dev] CDT 10.5.0 RC2 for 2021-12 RC2

If anyone can help me with a little conundrum I would be very grateful.

Unusually I have released RC2 from the cdt-master CI job, because the cdt-10.5 CI job was reporting lots of test failures. Both jobs are building the same commit, so I can't tell why I reliably get different results.

If anyone want to have a look, please see https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=577576

Thanks
Jonah

Hello folks,

CDT for Eclipse 2021-12 RC2 has now been posted. I am following the steps in the "endgame" ticket.

CDT is planning on shipping 10.5.0 as part of the 2021-12 release. Please have a look at the New and Noteworthy and the active and completed bugs to see what is planned for this release.

The CDT p2 repo is https://download.eclipse.org/tools/cdt/builds/10.5/cdt-10.5.0-rc2/ and is based on commit 71ad45b382

The complete bundled C/C++ Package (the one that will be posted to https://www.eclipse.org/downloads/) will be ready this Friday/Saturday.

This is our schedule for publishing CDT's contribution to 2021-12 simultaneous release. See SimRel 2021-12 Plan for further details.  (The EPP generally will be available on Friday of the same week):
Today - 2021-12 RC2
Then we are in Quiet week(s) until the release on Wed 8 Dec. (For those of you who may be intimately familiar with old schedules, the release day for 2021-12 is one week earlier than previous -12 releases, see announcement for more details.)

Thanks,
Jonah
