Re: [cdt-dev] Eclipse CDT's goal for Visual Studio Code

Hi Yanis,

Thanks for your email. I assume you are referring to cdt-gdb-adapter and the related plugins? There has not been a concerted effort yet to publish these as VS Code plug-ins. However they are used and distributed by multiple vendors and available as part of Eclipse Theia, see theia-cpp-extensions' cpp-debug

Much of this work is happening under Eclipse Theia and the ECD (Eclipse Cloud Development). For example, see the Open VSX registry and project page.

Hi,
I'm writing this to ask if you have something in a plan to create similar features available on Eclipse CDT for Visual Studio Code, including well-used debug features such as Registry, Disassembly, Breakpoints/Watchpoints and so on.
I saw a previous version on GitHub, but I don't really see it is actually maintained.
Did you have a roadmap for this project?

Thanks in advance.
Regards.
