Thanks! The workaround mentioned in bug 489771 (pass -Dswt.enable.autoScale=false as a vmarg) fixes the problem for me.

I also discovered that the issue is not specific to my local builds, the latest CDT nightly looks the same as well. Makes sense if the problem is caused by ongoing work on HiDPI support.
