Thread-topic: Removing non-deprecated APIs?

Hi,

I was wondering how others felt about recent improvements that deprecate APIs. Can we use the current opportunity to remove them completely or should we give extenders the opportunity to notice them as deprecated?

Waiting could leave them lying around for years. Removing them now would reduce the maintenance burden but could require more work from extenders.

Opinions?
