Hi,

the CDT 8.8.1 RC1 build is now posted:
http://download.eclipse.org/tools/cdt/builds/mars/milestones/ur2-rc1

zipfile:

It is based on commit: f36e081d4978bd46440b0dd788c10a9ed843e4b7

RC2 is in two weeks, on Monday, February 1st, 2016

The simultaneous release change has been pushed to Gerrit and should be committed soon.

Time for some testing :)
