What did you mean by target in this case? There are so many places we use the term “target”.

The current stream of Arduino development is still against CDT 8.8/Mars. So if you want to help, that would be the cdt_e4.5.target file and the cdt_8_8 branch.

I’m doing a lot of changes on master to support the new build model, but please ignore that for now. By the time Mars.2 ships in February, I’ll make sure all the changes on the 8.8 branch are brought forward to master to be ready for Neon.

I am responding to the Arduino CDT Plan Update thread where Doug mentioned that he would switch target versions for the current development???

Is it possible to update the "CDT/Arduino" wiki page with the current target for Arduino CDT for those of us that would like to set up "Getting started with CDT development" please?
