For information purpose, the reason the Standalone debugger test was failing and only on the cdt_8_7 job on Hudson is because that job was missing the build step that did:

#!/bin/sh -x
metacity --replace --sm-disable &

We now have a green build for cdt_8_7, build #16, which will post as RC2.
