Yeah, but it’s probably pretty confusing to the main audience of the N&N, users who are pondering installing the release after it’s released, and they may not know exactly what date that is and think those features are actually in an update, for example.

I did that a while ago.  The idea was that if someone is running a nightly build they can easily know if a feature is part of that build or not.

 

I’m not sure how useful that has been.

Does anybody know the reasoning behind dates in https://wiki.eclipse.org/CDT/User/NewIn86? For example, "This enhancement was completed January 7th, 2015 through bug 455408."
