Re: [cdt-dev] watching components in bugzilla

You can follow the relevant inbox user for the component you care about (I think that is what Sergey is suggesting); this is the user a new bug is automatically assigned to when created. CDT has a different user for (almost) every bug component.

You will then get an email for every change to a bug as long as it is assigned to that inbox user. For bugs you want to follow even if it gets assigned to someone in particular you should add yourself in cc.

If you really want to be in cc for all bugs of certain components, I can tell bugzilla to add you as a default cc for those components as soon as the bug gets created. This is what happens for me for all bugs in the debug components.

Let me know of that is what you want and if so, which components.

BR,

Marc

You can probably add QA contacts of all CDT components to the User Watching list at the bottom of https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/userprefs.cgi?tab=email

This helps somewhat, but I only get a feed update when a new bug is posted. I would like to also be notified when a new comment is posted on an existing bug.

Thanks,
