Re: [cdt-dev] Copyright header for contributions?

The only reference I could find is
https://www.eclipse.org/legal/copyrightandlicensenotice.php

That states that "Subsequent authors are listed on proceding lines with a short description of the contribution"

Guideline has not been updated since 2005 when no Git/Gerrit were in place. Taking in account that Git preserves original author, is it still required? at least for minor changes.

Thank you,
Teo

Subject: [cdt-dev] Copyright header for contributions?

Hi,

does someone know the latest IP rules when accepting a contribution?
Do we have to put the contributors name in the copyright header of each changed file, or is this not needed?

Thanks

Marc
