Re: [cdt-dev] CDT 8.3.1?

8.4 isn't going to Kepler, it's for Luna.

8.3.1 wouldn't go to the Kepler simrel site, only people updating or installing from our site would get it. It has some fixes to stack overflows in the indexer which is why we're picking it up.

Would someone picking up CDT from the Kepler update site get this new one b by default ? I don't think that would be good, 8.4 should be picked up by default off Kepler.

Marc

Hey gang,

At QNX/BlackBerry, we've been working against the nighlty builds of CDT 8.3. I was wondering if there was interest in the community behind declaring an SR-1 for 8.3. It could be as simple as grabbing the latest nightly build and putting it into our kepler release tree as 8.3.1 (really, a kepler SR-3 I suppose). We've done a fair amount of testing against it so I don't think the risk would be high.

Thoughts?
Doug.
