[cdt-dev] CDT-parser component deprecated?

Hi all

According to the discussion in [1], the CDT-parser component is deprecated.
- Is this true?
- What is the replacement?
- Is org.eclipse.cdt.internal.core.dom.parser.c part of CDT-parser?

If this is not true, how do I access the labels described in that 
bugreport? E.g. in: extern func () asm ("FUNC");
According to the bug report support for labels has been added, but I 
can't find a way to access them.
