It sounds like you may be running into https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=379627. I still have this issue, and I haven't gotten around to looking into it yet, but I'm able to work around it by disabling all proposal kinds except for 'Parsing-based proposals' in Window -> Preferences -> C/C++ -> Editor -> Content Assist -> Advanced. I'm a bit lost. Content assist is giving me proposals from the standard and system libraries (like pthread_t from glibc), although I haven't directly included those headers. Are there some indexer settings or parser settings that could cause this? Any hint is highly appreciated.
