http://wiki.eclipse.org/CDT/git#Posting_patches_on_Bugzilla suggests
that for simple patches, bugzilla may also be used - has this policy
changed? For the casual one-off contributor, learning gerrit, setting
up accounts etc is an unwelcome complication (just as signing
contributor license agreements would have been, but thankfully is not
necessary for small stuff)...
