Re: [cdt-dev] Committer vote for Thomas Corbat has been approved by the PMC

Hello

Thanks a lot to Sergey for the nomination and the committers who gave me their vote, and the others as well for not objecting. I feel welcome and it's an honor to become a CDT committer.

Since I have been working with CDT, contributed to it and been developing on several plug-ins for CDT it is great to get more involved into CDT itself. My employer is happy as well, since have been using it for educational purposes at our university for years. And as we are on the bleeding edge of C++(11), and also teach modern C++, we like having a IDE satisfying our needs. This is also the part where I think I can contribute most: C++11 support, code analysis, refactoring and source code generation. But of course I'm willing to delve into other parts of the IDE as well.

I'm looking forward to an interesting time as CDT committer.

Kind Regards,
Thomas
