Yes, Thursdays is slightly ahead of Friday in people's preferences.
What we need now is to book a room for Thursday before confirming
the date.  I was planning on contacting the EclipseCon folks, but
I was wondering if Doug was in a better position to do so?

I'll contact them this afternoon if Doug doesn't prefer to do
it himself.
