You may be over-thinking that. If you wrote the inputs that went into generating the parser and lexer, then that’s the same thing. Just like if you wrote the Java code, the byte codes emitted by the compiler can be attributed to your work.

One reservation I had was that the paser and lexer are generated code, so I can't answer yes to the three questions.

I am not sure why you believe this to be true. The Antlr runtime is being used by other Eclipse projects, and we rather like the BSD license.

 

 

Sadly, I won't be able to push this to CDT, since it requires the Antlr runtime library (BSD license).
