[cdt-dev] C/C++ Syntax coloring export

Hello everyone.

 

First of all, congratulations for the really good job you do on the Eclipse CDT project. 

 

 

On every release you enhance what at first sight looks unbeatable.  

 

 

This time I would like to ask you a question on how to export the C/C++->Editor->Syntax Coloring configuration.

 

 

The only way I am aware of is to reuse the Eclipse workspace.

 

That works most of the time but when major releases happen that stops working.

 

 

From the user standpoint in order to migrate to newer Eclipse CDT versions that is a headache. 

 

 

So if there is no easy way to do this. 

 

Are you planning to implement XML export for it?  Am I missing something?

 

If you plan to do this I would like to be involved in.
