This doesn’t have anything to do with cdt.

 

That said, the fact that exporting preferences does not export everything the user expects is known. See

Hi,

on eclipse Juno 32 bit there is an issue that sounds like a bug:

 

If I export all preferences (export->general->preferences->export all) it seems that the key preferences are not correctly exported.
