My experience with platform I-builds which I had to use fairly recently is that once you install I-build you are stuck with them and cannot go back to milestone builds, even more recent ones. And so you are looking at full reinstall to get back to milestone stream after M6.

As for releng, I just need to switch the build to use the 3.8-I-builds
directory. I'll do that now as part of the restructuring I'm doing.
Shouldn't hurt either way.
