[cdt-dev] Extending CDT

Hi,
I'm trying to extend cdt with a plugin. The problem is I want to extend 
"makefile based projects", not managed. Is this possible? Where can I 
read about? I try to add a toolchain, and work, but in managed mode.
Other question, is posible add a debuger profile throw a plugin?
